    Balance Accountants & Advisers
    Accounting & Financial Services

Meet the Accounting Team

A partner of Balance Accountants & Advisers, Andrew Pullen holds a Bachelor of Business – Accounting/Finance and is also qualified as a Chartered Accountant, as well as a Financial Planner. Upon spending the better part of a decade learning and experiencing the business from the inside out at another company, Andrew then decided to begin his own practice, opening in 2012. Whilst conceding that running an accounting practice is quite a time-consuming endeavour, Andrew unwinds on his bicycle when time affords, and recharges by spending time with his young family..

A partner of Balance Accountants & Advisers since mid-2016, Matt Pullen holds a Bachelor of Business – Accounting/Finance and is also qualified as a Chartered Accountant. Matt has been with the firm since its inception, on hand to enjoy watching the business grow. Matt has an eye for Self-Managed Superannuation Funds and specialises in tax for both business and the individual alike. Beyond the walls of the practice, Matt enjoys a round or two of golf and staying up to date with the horse races while cherishing time spent with his young family..

A partner of Balance Accountants & Advisers since early 2017, Mark Fisher is the new old boy in the merged partnership of Andrew Pullen Accounting and Fisher Accounting Services. A Bachelor of Business (Accounting) holder, he is also a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Australia and New Zealand, and brings a wealth of experience in all things accounting and taxation to the place he’s called home for over 30 years. A theme typical of a firm known as Balance Accountants & Advisers is indeed the operative word and like the other guys Mark knows the importance of maintaining a happy life away from the office, keeping fit training and competing in triathlons.

  • Katie Katie ACCOUNTANT

Joining the firm shortly after graduating with a Bachelor of Accounting/Finance from Charles Sturt University’s Bathurst campus in October of 2016, Katie has been a valuable member of Balance Accountants & Advisers ever since. In keeping with the firm’s work/life balance theme, Katie’s interests beyond the walls of the business turn to horse racing and spending time at the stables.

  • Sophie Sophie OFFICE MANAGER

Since joining the business as receptionist in March of 2014, Sophie has set about making herself an integral part of the firm’s success. She has gained great insight into the financial industry and her leadership as Office Manager provides the platform upon which Balance Accountants & Advisers can serve the community best. Like her colleagues, Sophie relishes her hours away from work by spending quality time with family and friends.

  • Alyssa Alyssa RECEPTIONIST

As the firm’s receptionist Alyssa understands the key role she plays within the business, serving as the initial point of contact to clients and customers. She has proven herself very competent in her role since joining the business. Away from work, Alyssa enjoys spending time with her friends and keeping active at the gym.

It is the combination of all these components which Monica calls upon to develop and implement complete strategies to see your financial goals met. Away from the finance world, Monica spends her down time with her young family and, if time allows, she enjoys the odd game of squash.
